I know how you feel! My sister was obese all her childhood and when she turned 14 she knew she had to do something, she was loosing weight by drinking water instead of soda eating right exercising and she lost an amazing 42 pounds! As we moved all over the united states she began to eat fast food and is now obese again by the age of 16 she has fat deposits on her liver. But now she is beginning to loose weight again and has lost up to 56 pounds this year. It just keeps on changing!

Thank you so much for the inspiration :) Most videos related to this that i have been watching involved crazy diets. @19may0001 Funny, but NOT. I have actually evolved to an entirely raw foods diet and haven’t eaten meat for 25 years. But if you do eat cheese burgers, do it with joy because feeling guilty about what you eat is the worst thing you can do for your body.

This made me cry. I started my journey a week and a half ago, I am working my way up to five miles of walking a day, and eating way less than I always have. I hit 300 lbs at one point, and I wanted to just die. Since then, I had been up and down like a rollercoaster, but never really had any motivation. But I just got up one day and started walking. I am feeling so great even though I haven’t lost much yet, its nice to feel the sun shining again. Thanks for this, it is a big help.

@isafus I BECAME THIN IN MY MIND, and then my body only had to catch up with me, and it came off really fast. You have plenty of time to become thinner. Focus on your thin body, how would you walk, talk, be? Do that NOW! Good luck! <3

@danaandersen97 If you drink lots of water, use coconut oil, and be sure to get lots of Omega 3′s, your skin will shrink as you lose weight… and anyway, the thought of having saggy skin is much less a risk than being overweight. Please don’t let that stop you! <3

@Shideh8 You have no idea what it’s like being obese. Food can become just as much of an addiction as any other substance. Anything that makes you feel good can become psychologically addicting. Not that over-eaters deserve any more slack than the rest of the addicts in the world, but saying that it’s so cut and dry is like saying an addiction to heroin can just be dropped because you say so.

Congratulations Sierra – you are TRULY an inspiration. I have to say that you were already “beautiful on the inside” (I know, it’s such a cliche nowadays – I may be wrong but your story and pictures tell me that you already had an unconventional and adventurous spirit, a good heart, socially conscious and a smile that could light up a room. Strengths that we should all strive to attain. God bless and stay strong, lean and beautiful
