my mom ordered the book but its taking a while to get here. She wants to get started but doesn’t know what the secret in the book is. What do you use or eat that is supposed to let you lose up to 10 pounds in your first 24 hours?

Among other things it basically talks about how “American” processed foods and ways of life throw off the body’s natural metabolism and therefore cause weight gain.

He then goes into steps to reset your metabolism which includes a strict short-term diet coupled with treatments of a hormone called HCG.

The whole thing lasts 12 weeks at which point you should be able to go back to eating normally.

My sister is actually on this diet right now. She hasn’t lost a lot of weight but her body is looking better( she probably only had about 20 lbs to lose to begin with.) The book’s claim to fame is not just losing weight but losing it in trouble areas that especially women have a hard time losing. To that end, she says it appears to be working. The program is fairly expensive however if I remember correctly.

I’ve read the first 4 chapters or so and I’m interested in trying this myself but I’m not sure I have the funds at this point.
